I wanted to try a clear protein powder. I'm not always in the mood for a thick "shake". I order the blue bomb pop...it's amazing. The first couple of times I put it in a shaker but it didn't dissolve completely. I wasn't mad at it but I wanted a better result. Today I put it in a blender. Water and powder was stirred in a glass first. Then I transferred it to the blender with some ice. OMG! It grew to twice its size. So much so that it leaked out. What I was left with was a blue frothy airy cloud of yumminess!! This is how it should be prepared. I'm so full from it and love it. The picture was taken after it settled a bit but freshly blended it was completely air and fluff. I'm obsessed!

The clear proteins are proving very easy on my stomach and especially when mixed with some carb powder are performance game changers when consumed during and immediately after workouts. I have noticed I don't gas out as much on longer sessions and am less sore after. They don't dissolve 100% immediately, but if you let them sit for a bit they do and then it is basically like drinking a juice but getting 20g protein.

If I had a wish list though it would be the following: I like this flavor but I wish it was a little less sweet. I know the foaming is noted on the packaging, but it is really a lot and makes it hard to drink the entire serving. Finally, related to packaging, the ziplock is terrible at re-sealing. This becomes a big problem when traveling.

This clear whey isolate is clean, mixes well, and doesn’t cause any GI upset. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for a creamy protein shake and want something more refreshing that still helps me hit my protein goals. This one is by far the best I’ve tried. As a health and nutrition coach, it’s definitely going into my lineup of recommended products for clients.

It’s extremely tart, and doesn’t really mix great in my blender bottle. Had to navigate a few clumps of mix, but overall good flavor, no weird aftertaste and definitely reminds me of a rocket pop.

However I’m a firm believer that 30 servings per bag/container should be the staple. 16/17 servings per package is just not enough for the price. Also the serving scoop is over 27 grams (a serving) so if you’re doing 1 scoop as prescribed or implied you’re going to run out of this product even faster. This unfortunately is what is going to make me go with another brand.
